Generally for laser hair removal, clients will need 6-9 treatments. Periodically touch-ups are required annually depending on genetics.
Treatments are spread out between 4-6 week intervals.
On the day of your appointment, thoroughly clean the area being treated, and do not apply any lotions, makeup or deodorant. Hair removal requires shaving the night before, abstaining from tanning or spray tanning and avoiding photosensitizing drugs prior to treatment. It is important that these protocols are followed for your safety and efficacy of the treatment. Stop waxing or plucking 3 weeks prior to your appointment.
Certain genetics and medical conditions prevent you from attaining optimal results but it can minimize hair growth in everyone. It is not effective on red, blond or white hairs.
Laser hair removal is permanent. 80-95% of the hair will be permanently removed as the body will always retain a small amount of protective hair to protect the skin.
Everyones pain tolerance is different. Generally laser hair removal is tolerable or relatively painless for most.
Laser hair removal requires no downtime. You may return to your regular activities immediately after our treatment. However, before your session, no tanning, advil, aspirin, or photosensitive medications including but not limited to antibiotics.
You cannot receive laser treatments while being pregnant and it is recommended although not required to finish breast-feeding before receiving treatment.
If you miss a session or it is rescheduled due to machine maintenance, you will not be charged for the session nor will your treatments become void. The results you attained will remain intact. Often it can appear the effects are reversed due to long periods of time in-between caused by things such as pregnancy, however worry not.
